Ensuring No Child Is Left Behind

We go to remote corners, villages, and cities where it's really tough to be a child.

The Wounds You Cannot See Are Still Wounds.

DIHAN Foundation delivers free psychosocial support, community-based mental health care, and long-term psychological rehabilitation across Bangladesh.

We stand beside the survivors of July 2024 and every person carrying emotional pain, trauma, anxiety, grief, or struggles that the world has chosen not to see.

Healing begins when someone listens, understands, and cares. Our mission is to ensure that no one has to face their mental health journey alone.

What Nusrat Saw

When DIHAN Foundation's Director Nusrat Jahan Monne was treating the wounded in July 2024, she noticed something that no medical report was recording.

The boys whose bullet wounds were healing were not getting better. They sat in silence. They stopped eating. They flinched at sounds no one else could hear.

Their bodies were recovering. But something deeper had been broken, and nobody in the room was talking about it...

"I kept thinking we are treating the wound on the outside. But what about everything happening on the inside?

These young people witnessed things no human being should ever witness. And when the bandages came off, they were sent home as if it were over.

It was not over. For many of them, it was only just beginning.

That observation became a programme. That programme became a commitment. And that commitment will not end until every survivor of July 2024 and every vulnerable Bangladeshi carrying an invisible wound has access to the mental health care they deserve.

The movement demonstrated the strength, courage, and determination of a new generation committed to positive change. It highlighted the importance of civic participation, social responsibility, and the power of collective action in shaping a better Bangladesh.
