Professional Biography
Shams is a qualified Advocate licensed by the Bangladesh Bar Council and holds dual LL.M. degrees from Canterbury Christ Church University, United Kingdom, and the University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh.
He currently serves as an Intern at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) International Trade Law Division in Vienna and leads DIHAN Foundation's international affairs and strategic partnerships from London, United Kingdom.
Beyond his legal career, Shams has dedicated himself to community development work across multiple countries. As a formal United Nations Volunteer in Algeria, he contributed to awareness campaigns supporting the Sustainable Development Goals.
He has worked extensively with Rohingya refugee communities in Cox's Bazar and supported vulnerable populations across Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.
